Book a Day Trip on the Prosecco Road

Our day trips commence at 9.30am with just a short drive to the fabulous vineyards of the Prosecco Superiore region where the finest Prosecco DOCG is produced.

The scenery will enthral you on the way to the small family run winery that becomes our first stop in our Prosecco tasting journey. You will see the full process; from the huge hopper where the grapes are input before being transferred to stainless steel tanks for the fermentation process to begin. We also visit the cellars, the production process and fermentation room. The tour culminates with a glass or two of the vineyard’s Prosecco.

We take lunch in a local trattoria where you can enjoy a traditional menu from the region (not included).

After lunch we will visit the second winery where the vintner will explain more about the methodology of Prosecco making and introduce you to their finest Prosecco Superiore DOCG which we will then be able to taste and enjoy!

Our return journey will pass some of the multitude of Prosecco vineyards and panoramic views, where there will be more opportunities to take photos as we return to your start point.

Prices include: Transport by air conditioned vehicle, English speaking guide, road tolls, entrance to the wineries and the tasting. Lunch is not included.

Day trips start from €150 per person, please email or telephone with your requirements.

Private trips start from €250 per person, please email or telephone with your requirements.

Join us on the journey along the Prosecco Road, calling in at local wineries where you will taste the magic provided by the best quality Prosecco Superiore, made by generations of the same families, in the most sumptuous picturesque setting with lush green hillsides, terracotta farmsteads and small villages, olde-wordly Italian style! The winemakers will give you expert-led tastings to demonstrate their range of Proseccos and give you an insight into the history and the methods of production. Prosecco exhibits fresh peach notes and may also contain notes of citrus fruits, apple, pear, almonds or acacia. The vines are grown on steep slopes and cultivated by hand to exacting standards, ensuring the end result is perfect!

You will also enjoy sumptuous local produce at some of the area's best restaurants; local specialities such as radicchio and handmade pasta alongside favourites such as locally grown cold meats, wild herbs and fresh seafood to complement the Prosecco.
This area of Italy boasts some world famous architects and sculptors. Our hotel is centrally based, to ensure you can enjoy the region to the fullest, a tour of the immediate vicinity will provide panoramic scenery and years of history, with a visit to Follina Abbey, Conegliano Castle or a proliferation of the regions’ palladian style buildings.

client testimonials

  • This is a fabulous trip and I cant recommend it enough. Firstly, Amanda is brilliant and she has sourced some super wineries to visit. No two are the same. We learnt something different at each one. The hotel accommodation was spot on too. even if you aren't into Prosecco this trip is well worth it as the scenery is stunning. I now know what to look for in a good Prosecco, all thanks to Amanda and her super trip!
